Good news to all voters, a simple project creation wizard is making its way into QField's next version. You can follow its development on QField's github repository. The UI-part is emerging in this PR: https://github.com/opengisch/QField/pull/6656

looking for funding

Thank you for voting for this idea. We are currently reviewing this functionality and hope to start development soon.

Being able to base the new project on an existing project or making use of a project template would be ideal
